Linda has 30 years of architectural design and project management experience including various roles for Related Midwest, Lendlease Development, GREC Architects, and DeStefano + Partners

Prior to joining Weldon Development Group, Linda acted as the Creative Design Director – Lendlease Development, Chicago, for the Urban Regeneration Business in the Americas region, was responsible for managing the design process for development projects in the Chicago market and supporting Lendlease’s development efforts nationally as a residential SME.  Linda was instrumental in bringing together the unique ideas and talents of the team to form a cohesive vision for each project that aligns with Lendlease’s commitment to sustainable, community-driven development. Project responsibilities included master planning, feasibility studies, design team management, overseeing branding, marketing and sales for the 5 Chicago towers, encompassing more than 2,300 apartment and condo units, during her tenure there.

Prior to Lendlease, Linda held the role of Senior Project Manager with CBRE, she held the role of Subject Matter Expert for Hospitality Project Management.  Her projects included restaurants and techno experience spaces in Chicago and hotel room and public space renovations along with restaurant design and concepting across Canada. 

Before CBRE, her architectural design experience included an Associate Principal role at GREC Architects.  Her design work there includes the Abu Dhabi Golf Course Hotel, a Kimpton Hotel and restaurant in Chicago.

Before GREC, Linda had the role of Senior Project Manager at Related, Chicago.  Experience there was both project management and design, responsible for the Project Management of the Peshtigo an unbuilt Condo Tower on the lake.  These responsibilities included design management, entitlement and planning work, unit design, coordination of sales and Marketing. Other work included the design customization of the Penthouses at 340 on the Park and the design and sales/marketing coordination of Roosevelt Square.

Prior to Related. Linda was the Senior Associate and Director of Interiors at DeStefano + Partners for a decade.  She was responsible for the Interiors team and designed and directed design for award winning boutique commercial interiors, high end luxury single family home residential projects and institutional clients, such as the Alliance Francaise.

She started out her career with time spent at various architectural firms such as Perkins & Will, Chicago and ISI in Mexico City, Mexico.

She received her Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Architecture Degrees from Pennsylvania State University; her professional affiliations have included the American Institute of Architects, the US Green Building Council (USGBC) and the Urban Land Institute.
